Course Outline

  • Fun, relaxed and communicative online English classes
  • For groups between 3 – 8 students
  • General English Language conversation practice and
  • Business Communication Skills – Speaking fluency and confidence in for Business Professionals
  • Twice weekly classes
  • 10 hours per course (5 x 2 lessons per week)
  • Duration : 1 Hour
  • Time : to be agreed
  • Format : Zoom or Microsoft Teams
  • Free, no obligation, 15 minute online Zoom call with every student to discuss level, needs and any questions they may have

Cost

Per student: 10 hour class booking

  • €180 (€18 per class) (Euro)

Age range :

General English Conversation Class

  • Adult classes :             18  and above
  • Young Learners :        (i) Under 12 years (ii) 12-14’s (iii) 15-17’s

Business Communication Skills

  • For business professionals either working or studying business related subjects (university age)

Style and approach

  • A variety of topic based classes, with questions and answer sessions, open conversations, discussions and debates, small group exercises (e.g. in break out rooms)
  • Focus on fluency, confidence building and feeling comfortable using English
  • Teacher led, with an emphasis on student talking time (STT) and productive contributions.
  • Feedback on error correction (e.g. grammar points), correcting pronunciation and summarising new and unknown vocabulary
  • Using teacher developed lessons, materials and supplanted with text book materials

Teacher Qualifications and Experience

  • 28 years teaching TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language)
  • UK based, with extensive experience teaching in Indonesia and Malaysia, plus the UK
  • Online teaching and training business since 2018
  • DELTA Qualified – Diploma in English Teaching to Adults (2004)
  • BA (Hons) degree
  • Previous business career as a senior manager in customer service and logistics management in the UK railway industry
