In 1997, whilst travelling around the world for 2 years, I found myself in Indonesia. A country that immediately fascinated and interested me, so much so that I took an opportunity to change career and began teaching TEFL / ESL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language / English as a Second Language).

I decided to make teaching English my career and taught English in Indonesia and Malaysia from 1997 – 2002, before returning to the UK and teaching at an adult English Language school in Worcester until 2016 and where I continue to live.

I am an experienced teacher of all areas of English, teaching English to professional adults and teenagers for the last 25 years.

In 2004, I successfully passed the Diploma in English Teaching to Adults (DELTA) in addition to my Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA), which I passed in 1998.

I have 6 years business management experience and enjoy teaching English for Business;
whether helping you to perfect presentations, projects, participating in meetings and negotiations, English for business travel, social or cultural situations, or any other aspect of business. I was runner up in 2014 in the EBET, Excellence in Business English Teaching award, A UK wide Business English teaching competition.
